Moisture-free (Naturally Resistant to Rotting and Decay) – If you’re worrying about decay and rotting, it certainly won’t be a problem when dealing with the ECO- Forestry moisture-free Teak wood floor. Due to its high oil content, Teak Select™ wood naturally repels water, insects, mold, and rot resistance.

Surface Finish – Due to its high silica content, dried Teak Select™ wood features an anti-slip surface, making it a safe option for flooring and decking. The wood has stunning aesthetics with a golden-brown color when treated or when left raw, it naturally ages to a lovely silver hue patina.

Little to No Maintenance – Teak Select™ wood does not require meticulous maintenance, and treatment is optional, depending on your desired aesthetics. While many hardwood flooring options require chemicals, preservatives, and sealants for protection, Teak Select™ wood definitely does not.

Heat Moderation Characteristics – Teak Select™ wood has heat moderation properties, which act as an excellent insulator to line your sauna.

Hardness – Teak Select™ rates up to 1,185 on the Janka hardness scale (pounds-force), with a bending strength of 14,600 psi. This makes it a moderately hard type of wood that won’t bend or warp easily. It is also not prone to splintering and cracking, making it possible to last a lifetime. You will be surprised at how hard, strength and light this is!
